Amritatva means food of immortality, food that gives you power and strength to stay healthy and strong. It is derived from the Sanskrit words “Amrit” and “Tatva”.
At Amritatva We are working on a circular economy. Provide a supply chain and training to farmers for the cultivation of oyster mushrooms in an eco-friendly way. Rural women help us manufacture and package value-added vegan and gluten-free millet & mushroom-based food products. Support UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 5, 8, 10,12, and 13.
Our Business Idea is to provide food that is healthy and free of harmful chemicals, in a sustainable way. So the food is not only good for us but also good for the environment.
Oyster mushroom is an edible fungus and classified as a vegetable in world foods. Mushrooms have medicinal and nutritional properties. Oyster mushroom is a rich source of protein, vitamins, minerals, fibre and other antioxidants like selenium protect body cells from damage that might lead to chronic diseases and help to boost the immune system. Oyster mushroom is low in calories, fat-free Cholesterol free, Gluten-free, and very low in sodium. By consuming oyster mushrooms anyone can decrease the risk of obesity, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and increase the immunity system.

I am a nature lover person, I believe in optimal utilization of anything which I have, don’t want to pollute mother earth, I love to live life in a sustainable way, every day I want to learn something new which is related to health and environment.
I have done Engineering in Electronics & Communication. I have working experience as a lecturer of four years and four-year experience in the business.
The Story behind Amritatva – when my son was diagnosed as gluten-sensitive at the age of five, he faced so many health issues because of deficiencies, so I researched for healthy & nutritious food that should be gluten-free too. Then I got to know about medicinal mushrooms, as they are a superfood rich in Protein, Fibre, Vitamins, Minerals, Micronutrients & Antioxidants. Mushrooms are a great plant-based source to boost immunity, energy, and overall health.
I started my mushroom farming journey in 2019, I started with Oyster Mushrooms cultivation without using harmful chemicals and now making value-added mushroom-based products that are vegan & gluten-free as well.
